My pieces largely focus on surface decoration. I combine collage, drawing, and painting to create surface patterns that reflect my environment. I am drawn to vibrant colors and patterns. I want each angle of the form to be surprising. My process is playful and intuitive creating a surface design developed in the moment of making. This produces an innate uniqueness to my work. I aim to create work that is both alluring and practical. I make work to spark joy and evoke that playful energy.
