Jessica Fields is a painter living in Greenville, SC. Born and raised in Texas she carries the colors and love of the land in her work. After graduating from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design, she got her Masters in Education and taught in the Houston area for ten years. Her time in education cemented her playful style. She paints with an impasto technique, using only palette knives and cold wax mixed with oil. Subject matter bounces between landscape and still life, but always with a focus on joy and wonder.
