Liz graduated with a BFA from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan in 2004, but did not find her way to needle felting until many years later.  The first food she ever felted with a face was the mighty avocado. Felted because she was thinking about her weekly grocery list and realized, "I could felt that!"  These days she lives in Charlotte North Carolina with her two cats Moona and Zelda, and her long time partner Brandon.  All of whom help to support her love of making whimsical and silly art in their own ways.
