Melissa Giglio is a metalsmith and the creator behind January Jewelry, crafting delicate, modern, and nature-inspired pieces from her Greenville, South Carolina studio. Melissa earned her BFA in Art Education and Metal Design from East Carolina University, where she first discovered metalsmithing. After years of teaching, she launched January Jewelry in 2012, driven by a desire to build a creative and entrepreneurial life. Working with sterling silver, brass, copper, enamel, and ethically sourced stones, Melissa uses traditional metalsmithing techniques to create pieces that resonate with women who love feminine shapes, color and craft.
