My name is Cassidy Fearer and I am the artist of Water Tupelo Beadwork based in Bluffton, SC. As an Enrolled Member of the Cherokee Nation, My beadwork jewelry is a heartfelt reflection of my heritage. I specialize in fine beaded earrings and statement cuff bracelets that are specially made for everyone. In the creation of each piece, I display traditional and contemporary elements with the use of glass seed beads, authentic turquoise beads, porcupine quills, deer hide, and sterling silver. My beading technique for the creation of the beaded cuff bracelets includes the traditional two needle appliqué method. Using this method, I am able to create a story that starts with native roots, but has the ability to connect and resonate with anyone who wears it.
